Model choices

Which model provides hot and cold water?

King Top 2 provides hot, cold and room-temperature water. Kiut provides room-temperature water only.

Does Kiut provide chilled water?

No. Kiut is a compact tankless purifier for room-temperature drinking water. It does not provide hot or chilled water.

Rental offer and payments

How does the first-three-month discount work?

For months 1–3, King Top 2 is RM43/month (50% off RM86) and Kiut is RM36/month (50% off RM72). The regular rental rates are RM86/month and RM72/month respectively. Confirm the complete payment schedule, including any later rate changes, before registration.

Is RM1 my monthly rental payment?

No. RM1 is an advance payment credited towards your payment in month 36. It is not a monthly instalment or the total initial payment. Ask us to confirm the total amount due when you register.

What is the minimum contract duration?

Both student plans have a minimum contract of 36 months (3 years). Consider your expected stay in Malaysia and check the early termination terms before signing up.

Eligibility, installation and moving

Can international students apply?

International students can apply, subject to CUCKOO’s approval and current requirements. You will need a passport, valid visa documentation, a Malaysian mobile number and a Malaysian bank card for payment. Contact us to check eligibility and learn how to submit your documents securely.

What servicing and warranty are included?

Both King Top 2 and Kiut student Rental Plans include free cleaning service and free filter replacement every 4 months, plus warranty coverage. Warranty duration, coverage and exclusions are subject to the applicable plan terms; confirm these before registration.

Can I install a purifier in a rented condo?

Check landlord or accommodation-manager permission first. Suitable incoming water piping, an electrical socket, counter space, clearance and servicing access must also be checked before proceeding.

Can I share it with housemates?

Tell us the number of users and their water-temperature needs so we can check model suitability. The person who signs the rental agreement remains responsible for the plan under its terms.

What if I leave Malaysia or move before the plan ends?

Contact us before moving or ending your plan to check the relocation process and any early termination charges. Leaving Malaysia does not automatically cancel your contract or remove your payment obligations. Review the applicable terms before signing up.
