Installation Policy

This Installation Policy explains how CUCKOO product installations are arranged and carried out for orders placed through this website. All installations follow CUCKOO International (MAL) Berhad’s official procedures and technician standards. Every installation is performed exclusively by certified CUCKOO+ Technicians, while Sales Representatives assist only with coordination. All technical work, safety checks, and system activation are handled solely by CUCKOO.
Installation can only be scheduled after your order is submitted, required documents are provided, and CUCKOO Admin approves your application. Once approved, a CUCKOO Technician will contact you to arrange an installation date based on availability in your area. For outright purchases, installation is arranged once payment is confirmed, while for Rental and GOOODPLAN™ subscriptions, installation begins only after advance payment and verification are completed.
Standard installation coverage varies by product. Water purifiers include free basic installation with 10 feet of piping. Outdoor filters include free basic setup, though extra materials may incur charges. Air purifiers require no installation and are delivered with simple placement support. Mattresses may involve a standard delivery and setup fee. Air conditioner installation includes 10 ft copper piping, wiring, PVC drain pipe, insulation, outdoor bracket, 13A plug point, and refrigerant top-up if needed.
Certain work is not included in free installation and may require additional fees, such as dismantling old units, hacking or concealed work, extra piping or wiring beyond the standard length, trunking installation, skylift usage, relocating water or electrical points, and added wall or ceiling reinforcement. Optional components like faucets and valve outlets are not included. Homes with low water pressure may require a water pump, which the technician will explain before installation.
To ensure a smooth installation, customers must prepare the area by ensuring an adult (18+) is present, the space is clean and accessible, required water and power points are available, and any special requests are communicated in advance. Installation may be postponed if the environment is unsafe, unsuitable, or does not meet CUCKOO’s safety standards.
For rental customers, installation is free, and the rental contract, warranty, and service schedule activate only after the technician completes installation and system activation. For outright purchases, installation and warranty terms depend on product type, with warranty beginning from shipment and activating after installation. COD options vary based on CUCKOO’s product policies.
An installation attempt is considered failed if no one is present, the address is incorrect, the site is not ready, or the appointment is changed without notice. Repeated failed attempts may result in delays or extra charges. After installation, the technician will test and activate the product, explain basic operation and care, and provide servicing schedule details where applicable. Installation can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice, but short-notice changes may lead to delays or additional handling fees.
This Installation Policy may be updated periodically to reflect new CUCKOO guidelines or operational changes. The latest version will always appear on this page.
